The movie begins just after they leave Hogwarts, where they celebrate being free of the castle in a pub. The hooded man and Snape exchange a few words before it plunges into the story. A hooded stranger, whose face we can’t see, sits beside him and offers him a drink. In the opening scene, we see Snape sitting at a bar and obliviating anyone that approaches him as he drinks. My review, complete with spoilers and pictures, are under the cut. Because of this though, much of those years following their graduation from Hogwarts can be left up to interpretation. What we do know are only quick mentions made in the books or made announced through J.K.R.’s Twitter or Pottermore. Not much is known about the lives of the Marauders post-Hogwarts. On the other hand, this probably isn’t the Marauders fan film you’ve been waiting for. On one hand, the acting is pretty spot on, and there was clearly a good amount of research done by the cast and crew to really bring the characters we know and love to light. I’ve seen mixed reviews so far on this film, and it’s easy to see why. Okay, if you haven’t heard of or seen this fan-made film yet, GO WATCH IT IMMEDIATELY!!
